Upheaval
Acrylic on Heavyweight Paper | 22" x 28"
Upheaval is a high-texture exploration of transformation, defined by heavy impasto ridges and a moody, atmospheric depth. The piece was painted to the cinematic sounds of Ruby Haunt’s "Destroyer," translating the song’s slow-burning energy into a physical landscape of dark values and hidden "under-colors."
Surface: Numerous layers of heavy acrylic applied to maintain a raw, sculptural texture.
Protection: Finished with a whisper-thin, archival matte coat to ensure longevity and prevent cracking while preserving the integrity of every peak and ridge.
Display: Glare-free finish; no glass required. (Sold unframed).
