Gothic (2023)

This Abstract Expressionism painting came out unintentionally close to Jackson Polock's "Gothic" from 1944. That's why I gave it the same title. Thanks to Google image search we can search for similar paintings and sometimes we learn interesting things about our paintings. This painting is dedicated to the forgotten female artist that started abstract expressionism and influenced Jackson Pollock. Her name was Janet Sobel.
