Hunga Tonga (2022)

This digital painting was created in several steps First, the artwork components are painted using acrylics. Next, these finished acrylic paintings are scanned into digital formats. Finally, by using computer software these parts are combined into one digital painting. This digital painting is then printed using giclee printing service. This painting is about the Tonga disaster. When the Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha’apai volcano erupted on Jan. 15, 2022, it unleashed a violent explosion with the equivalent force of 4 to 18 megatons of TNT. This work is an "Open Edition"
